Welcome, I’m glad you’re here. This site is about my life as a fine artist and creative writer. My art and writing focus around both memory and imagination. On this site I’m sharing my growth and experiences – frustrations, successes, heartbreaks, victories, and “face-palm” moments.
For me – being an artist and writer is an adventure and sometimes things just don’t go as planned. I believe each artist and writer is a human being, and creating art in any medium shows what it means to be human.
Hopefully, my journey inspires you to continue mastering your own skills, try new mediums, and pick up your tools of mass creation every day and just make art. Whether that’s writing, drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpting, weaving, or gluing together starburst wrappers. Just make art!
The art and writing I produce concentrate around personal memories and perspectives. Each is a mixture of personal secrets and imagination presented as simply as possible. It’s my own metamorphosis from what has happened in my life to what happens in my dreams. Every piece has a character I’ve molded over aggressive memories, creating a non-linear narrative of myself.
I HAVE THIS ODD INSTINCT THAT DRIVES ME TO CREATE CHAOS AND TRIM THE EDGES FOR PRESENTATION LIKE A QUIET DESTRUCTION OF MEMORIES.
On this site, I will share these experiences with you – it doesn’t matter how beautiful, ugly, modern or traditional. I will post pictures of finished works or WIP’s (work-in-progress) and share tid-bit posts about my struggles, failures, successes, light-bulb moments and the aesthetic world that surrounds me.
To find out more about why and what I create, visit my blog and thanks again for taking your time to be here.
